Role
A dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher is required to energise students at Bcm Arya School | Ludhiana. The position focuses on delivering engaging PE lessons and fostering a healthy, active environment across all classes.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct dynamic physical education sessions for students in grades 6 to 10. Organise inter‑class competitions, sports days and health workshops. Maintain equipment, track student progress and collaborate with teachers to integrate physical activities into the broader curriculum. Ensure safety standards during all physical activities and manage any injuries or emergencies promptly. Participate in school sports committees and contribute to the development of new sports programs.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in any field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory for teaching roles; TET/CTET preferred but not compulsory. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of modern physical training techniques and sports science is essential.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in teaching Physical Education at the school level. Proven track record of improving student participation and performance in sports. Experience in coaching school teams or organising inter‑school tournaments is advantageous.
Compensation
Competitive salary ranging from Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include performance‑based incentives and professional development opportunities.
