TGT Physical Education Teacher Job in Ludhiana, Punjab | School Recruitment
Responsibilities
- Design and implement age‑appropriate physical education curricula for classes 6 to 12.
- Conduct daily PE lessons, ensuring safety protocols and effective use of sports equipment.
- Organise inter‑school and intra‑school sports events, coordinating with other teachers and staff.
- Assess students’ physical fitness levels and maintain detailed progress records.
- Mentor and supervise junior PE staff and volunteers during extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with parents and school administration to promote healthy lifestyles among students.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of gymnasium, fields, and related facilities.
- Keep abreast of latest developments in sports science and integrate relevant techniques into teaching.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory for teaching positions; TET or CTET preferred but not compulsory.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in teaching Physical Education at the school level.
Salary
Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 per month.
