Role Introduction
Partap World School in Pathankot, Punjab is hiring a PRT Computer Science Teacher. The candidate will deliver the Computer Science curriculum to primary and middle‑school students in a full‑time capacity.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging Computer Science lessons for classes I to VIII, aligning with the school’s syllabus.
- Introduce basic programming concepts, logical reasoning and digital literacy using age‑appropriate tools.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and practical assignments that reinforce theoretical topics.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, projects and class participation, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning environment.
- Organize computer lab sessions, ensuring equipment is used safely and responsibly.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops and school events.
- Keep records of attendance, grades and other required documentation accurately.
- Support the integration of ICT initiatives across the school’s academic activities.
Qualification, Experience, Salary, Location
The role requires a graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification, and at least 2 years of teaching experience in Computer Science. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET. The position is full‑time with a salary ranging from Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month.
