Strategic responsibilities
- Design and implement a progressive Computer Science curriculum aligned with state standards.
- Coordinate inter‑disciplinary projects that integrate coding, robotics, and data analytics.
- Lead the School PGT Computer Science Opening, ensuring smooth induction of new faculty.
- Oversee the development of extracurricular clubs, such as coding, AI, and cybersecurity, to enhance student engagement.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Manage the allocation of lab resources, ensuring optimal use of hardware and software.
- Represent the department in school governance meetings, contributing to policy decisions.
- Drive professional development workshops for teachers on emerging technologies.
- Foster partnerships with local tech firms and universities for internship and mentorship opportunities.
What you bring
A postgraduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed, and at least two years of teaching experience in a secondary school. TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Proven leadership skills, evidenced by past roles such as class teacher, subject coordinator, or training facilitator. Strong communication abilities and a passion for mentoring.
