Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update syllabus-based teaching resources, including worksheets, visual aids, and digital tools to support instruction. Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate mathematical concepts across different disciplines when relevant. Participate in school-wide academic planning sessions to refine teaching strategies and curriculum alignment. Ensure compliance with school policies on grading, attendance, and student discipline.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend regular faculty meetings to discuss pedagogical approaches and share best practices in mathematics education. Conduct periodic parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance and areas for improvement. Review and update teaching materials, textbooks, and assessment tools to reflect current educational trends and student needs.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with at least four years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Experience in teaching CBSE or state board curriculum is highly beneficial. A valid teaching certificate like TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This role is based in Rajpura, Patiala, Punjab, with a focus on delivering high-quality mathematics education in a supportive academic environment.
