We are seeking a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to join Gb International School in Nabha, near Patiala. This role focuses on shaping young athletes and students through engaging sports and fitness programs. Teaching Responsibilities
Design and deliver age-appropriate Physical Education lessons covering sports like basketball, cricket, athletics, and team games. Ensure curriculum alignment with school standards while fostering skill development and sportsmanship. Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student abilities, including those with special needs.
Planning and Coordination
Develop lesson plans incorporating national and international sports standards. Collaborate with the school’s sports coordinator to organize inter-house competitions, outdoor activities, and seasonal sports events. Plan annual sports festivals and ensure equipment maintenance and availability.
Student Support and Growth
Act as a mentor to students, encouraging participation in sports clubs and extracurricular activities. Provide guidance on nutrition, fitness routines, and injury prevention. Monitor student progress in physical fitness assessments and offer personalized feedback.
Administration and Collaboration
Maintain records of student participation, achievements, and attendance in sports activities. Work closely with parents and school management to promote a healthy lifestyle among students. Represent the school at local sports events and community outreach programs.
This position offers a salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, with the opportunity to grow in a supportive academic and sports-focused institution. A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or related field with 4 years of teaching experience is essential.
