PRT English Teacher Position at Sanskar Valley Smart School in Bhawanigarh
Sanskar Valley Smart School in Bhawanigarh, Sangrur, is looking for an enthusiastic PRT English Teacher to join its vibrant teaching team. The role focuses on inspiring young learners with a strong foundation in English language and literature, fostering creativity and communication skills in a modern, student-centric environment.
Responsibilities
Teach English to students from Class I to VIII, following the curriculum while adapting lessons to engage diverse learning levels. Develop engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments that align with school standards and encourage critical thinking. Maintain a supportive classroom environment where students feel motivated to express themselves confidently in English.
Engage with parents through regular interactions, updates, and collaborative efforts to ensure students’ academic and personal growth. Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and teacher training sessions to enhance teaching methods and school culture. Ensure proper record-keeping of student progress, attendance, and discipline to support overall school operations.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines. Possess a graduate degree in any discipline with English as a subject. Secure a Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the primary or upper-primary level, preferably in an English-medium school. Strong command over English grammar, vocabulary, and literature to deliver effective classroom instruction. Experience in using interactive teaching tools, digital resources, and innovative pedagogical techniques is a plus.
Salary and Employment
The selected candidate will be offered a full-time position with a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 30,000. The role is based in Bhawanigarh, Sangrur, and involves regular working hours with flexibility for school events and professional development activities.
