Job Description
PGT Zoology Teacher Position at Pragya Group of Institutions in Ajmer
Teach Zoology to students in Class 11 and 12 at Pragya Group of Institutions. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans covering topics like animal diversity, comparative anatomy, and evolutionary biology, ensuring alignment with the latest CBSE syllabus.
Conduct practical sessions in the school’s biology lab, including dissections and field studies, to reinforce theoretical concepts. Prepare and grade practical examinations, ensuring adherence to NCF guidelines for scientific inquiry.
Maintain updated laboratory equipment and safety protocols to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. Collaborate with the science department to integrate zoology concepts with other subjects like ecology and environmental science.
Ensure students grasp advanced topics such as genetics, physiology, and conservation biology through interactive and hands-on teaching methods.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in Zoology or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience in Zoology at the senior secondary level is required. Salary will be offered in the range of Rs.34,000 to Rs.60,000 per month. Full-time employment is offered.
