Day-to-Day Duties
- Conduct lectures and tutorials for Physics courses as per the university curriculum.
- Supervise practical sessions and ensure safe handling of laboratory equipment.

- Prepare and set question papers, evaluate answer scripts, and conduct internal assessments.
- Participate in curriculum development and periodic syllabus revisions.
- Organize and facilitate departmental seminars, workshops and guest lectures.
- Contribute to the department’s accreditation and quality assurance activities.
- Assist in the coordination of extracurricular science events and physics Olympiads.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 55% marks in Master’s degree (M.Sc Physics or equivalent).
- NET/SET qualification mandatory; UGC‑NET or CSIR‑NET preferred for Assistant Professor rank.
- Ph.D. in Physics is preferred but not mandatory for the TGT Physics Vacancy in Ajmer.
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience at the college level.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
Academic Projects
- Encourage research activities and support faculty in publishing papers in indexed journals.
- Facilitate participation in national and international conferences and seminars.
- Provide guidance for student research projects, dissertations and physics clubs.
- Collaborate with other departments for interdisciplinary projects and funding proposals.
