About This Role
Modern School is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Accountancy Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Accountancy to senior secondary students and contributing to the school's academic excellence.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Preparing and delivering lesson plans for senior secondary students.
2. Conducting board exam preparation classes and guiding students for better performance.
3. Maintaining student attendance and progress records.
4. Developing and implementing innovative teaching methodologies.
5. Collaborating with other teachers to achieve academic excellence.
6. Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to academic planning.
7. Maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a postgraduate degree in Accountancy or a related field, such as M.Com or M.A. Economics. Additionally, they should have a B.Ed degree and a valid NET/SET certificate. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in senior secondary education is required.
