Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PGT Home Science Teacher to join our team at Vanix World School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Home Science to students of classes 9 to 12, and will play a key role in developing the school's Home Science curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Home Science lessons to classes 9 to 12
- Develop and implement the school's Home Science curriculum
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Supervise students during practical Home Science experiments and activities
- Participate in school events and activities related to Home Science
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Home Science education and incorporate them into the curriculum
- Perform any other duties assigned by the school administration
Who Can Apply
Applicants should have a postgraduate degree in Home Science or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in Home Science and a passion for teaching. B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification is desirable, but not mandatory.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.45,000 per month, along with other benefits as per school policy.
