5. Conduct fitness assessments and track student progress.
6. Promote healthy lifestyle habits among students.
7. Coordinate with other teachers for annual sports day.
8. Ensure safety during all physical activities.
9. Report to the Principal on sports-related matters.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Physical Education or Sports Science
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Physical Education
- Familiarity with CBSE or state board curriculum
Good to Have:
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience in coaching cricket, football, or athletics
- Knowledge of sports psychology and fitness training
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and motivational skills
- Ability to manage large groups of students
- Organized and punctual work approach
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping
- Willingness to participate in school events beyond regular hours
