PRT Computer Science Teacher Job in Bikaner, Rajasthan | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
Teaching Computer Science at Sanskar Sr. Sec. School means planning daily lessons that make coding, algorithms, and digital tools click for students from classes 1 to 5. You will split time between classroom instruction, lab supervision, and quick grading of small assignments. The environment is lively, with students often bringing questions from home about games, apps, and basic troubleshooting.
What you will actually do
Prepare weekly lesson plans covering Scratch Jr, basic Python commands, and internet safety for young learners.
Conduct hands-on lab sessions twice a week so students type, debug, and run simple programs.
Create visual charts of binary numbers and flowcharts on classroom walls to reinforce concepts.
Organize monthly mini-projects where students build animated stories or simple calculators.
Set up accounts on free coding platforms and track progress of 30–40 students per batch.
Hold quick doubt-clearing sessions during free periods for students stuck on loops or variables.
Attend staff meetings on Saturday mornings to align with the school’s digital literacy goals.
Collaborate with the PRT team to plan annual tech fairs and coding competitions.
Who can do this job
Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed must be completed.
Two years of teaching or tutoring experience is expected.
TET/CTET scores are preferred but not mandatory.
What you need to bring
Patience to explain the same loop concept five different ways until it sinks in.
Basic Hindi and English for explaining errors and giving instructions.
Familiarity with Scratch, Python IDLE, and offline tools like Blockly.
A calm demeanor when 25 laptops boot slowly at once.

Rs.12,000 – Rs.20,000 per month, paid by the 5th of each month.
