Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Philosophy lessons to senior secondary students, aligning with the school’s curriculum and assessment standards. Encourage critical thinking, discussion and reflective writing through interactive classroom activities. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects and examinations. Participate in faculty meetings, school events and contribute to the overall academic development of the institution.
Eligibility
Minimum three years of teaching experience at the PGT level in Philosophy. Post‑graduate qualification in Philosophy or a related discipline. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; TET/CTET qualification is preferred. Good communication skills in English and Hindi, and the ability to foster a respectful learning environment.
Additional Requirements
Demonstrated ability to integrate contemporary philosophical thought with traditional concepts. Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to collaborate with colleagues across subjects. Must possess a valid teaching eligibility certificate as per state regulations.
