Role Introduction
Bal Bharti International School | Sujangarh is looking for a full‑time TGT Social Science Teacher in Sujangarh, Churu, Rajasthan. The candidate will deliver engaging Social Science lessons to classes VIII‑X and contribute to the school’s academic environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned Social Science lessons for grades VIII to X, incorporating textbooks, multimedia resources and local context.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to aid improvement.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and project work that stimulate critical thinking and civic awareness.
- Manage classroom discipline and create a supportive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Organize co‑curricular activities such as debates, model UN, field trips and cultural programs related to Social Science.
- Collaborate with senior staff to design interdisciplinary units and integrate values education.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports as per school policy.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops and parent‑teacher interactions.
- Guide students in research projects, exhibitions and competitions at school and district levels.
- Uphold the school’s code of conduct, safety norms and ethical standards at all times.
Qualification, Experience, Salary, Location
The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related discipline along with B.Ed/D.El.Ed, and has at least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Preference will be given to those who have cleared TET/CTET. The remuneration is Rs.20,000 – Rs.38,000 per month. The posting is based in Sujangarh, Churu, Rajasthan.
