Job Description
Physics is an experimental science, yet it is too often taught as a series of memorized formulas. MIRA International School in Dausa is looking for a PGT Physics Teacher who will reclaim the laboratory as the heart of the department. We want an educator who encourages students to ask "What if?" and "How?" Our ideal candidate in Rajasthan is someone who treats every Class 11 and 12 practical as a research project, teaching students the value of precision, error analysis, and the scientific method. Your role will be to transform our students from passive listeners into active investigators of the physical world.
Key Responsibilities
Investigatory Projects: Mentor Grade 12 students in their CBSE/ISC investigatory projects, helping them design original experiments.
Lab Safety & Upkeep: Maintain an impeccably organized Physics lab, ensuring all equipment (from Van de Graaff generators to simple pendulums) is in working order.
Data Literacy: Teach students how to plot accurate graphs, calculate percentage errors, and interpret data patterns.
Conceptual Linkage: Ensure that every theoretical unit taught in the classroom is immediately followed by a practical demonstration or experiment.
Exhibition Leadership: Organize the Annual Science Exhibition, showcasing student-made models that demonstrate physical laws.
