Job Title: NTT Mathematics Teacher
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Non-Teaching Graduate (NTT) Mathematics Teacher to join our team at a rural school in Tier 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Classroom Environment:
- Student-Teacher Ratio: 1:30
- Class Size: Maximum of 35 students per class
- Teaching Hours: 30 hours per week
- School Hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Additional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum for classes 6-10
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan and deliver lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Measurable outcomes:
- 90% of students achieving 75% attendance and above
- 80% of students showing improvement in Mathematics assessments
Instruction Approach:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Valid B.Ed degree from a recognized university
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
Performance Expectations:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Student attendance and engagement
- Student progress in Mathematics assessments
- Teacher feedback and evaluation from students and colleagues
- Targets:
- Increase student attendance by 10% within the first 6 months
- Improve student progress in Mathematics assessments by 15% within the first 9 months
Salary and Compensation:
- Basic Salary: Rs 30,000 per month
- Grade Pay: Rs 4,200 per month
- Total Salary: Rs 34,200 per month
