Your Students
As a TGT Social Science Teacher at Rana Public School, you will be working with students from diverse learning levels, including those with special needs. You will be expected to cater to the learning needs of all students, from those who require extra support to those who are advanced learners.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to students in grades 6-10.
- Create a supportive learning environment that encourages participation and critical thinking.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles and abilities.
- Use a range of teaching methods, including group work, discussions, and hands-on activities.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to ensure students stay on track.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the Social Science curriculum.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Social Science education and incorporate them into your teaching practices.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree required for teaching positions.
- TET or CTET certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching Social Science to students in grades 6-10.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
