Good Day Defence School Sainik School | Rajasthan is seeking a dedicated PRT English Teacher to inspire young minds in Hanumangarh. Daily responsibilities include conducting structured English classes covering grammar, vocabulary, literature, and speaking skills. You will prepare engaging lesson plans, use age-appropriate teaching aids, and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Daily interactions also involve monitoring student progress, addressing individual learning needs, and ensuring punctual attendance and discipline in line with Sainik School’s values.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve collaborating with the English department to align curriculum standards with national education frameworks. You will participate in weekly planning sessions, review student performance through assessments, and contribute to extracurricular activities like debates, elocution contests, and cultural events. Regular updates with the principal on student behavior and academic trends are also part of your role.
Periodic responsibilities include attending term-end evaluations to assess student growth, preparing annual progress reports, and participating in school-wide workshops or training sessions on teaching methodologies. You will also ensure compliance with school policies on curriculum adherence and student safety, especially in a Sainik School setting.
For this PRT English Teacher position at Good Day Defence School Sainik School | Rajasthan, candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least three years of teaching experience in English. A graduate degree in English or a related field is mandatory. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior experience in Sainik or similar defense-affiliated schools is highly beneficial.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.
