Role Summary

Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Pathology, including lectures, tutorials, and practical classes.
- Conduct research in the field of Pathology and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in curriculum development and assessment of student performance.
- Contribute to the development of the Department of Pathology through service and outreach activities.
- Maintain a high level of expertise in the field of Pathology through ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new courses and programs.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in departmental and university-level committees to contribute to policy and decision-making.
Master Level Teaching
- Teach master level courses in Pathology, including molecular pathology, immunology, and histopathology.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
- Conduct seminars and workshops for postgraduate students on advanced topics in Pathology.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess a PhD in Pathology or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks. Those who do not have a PhD must have cleared the NET/SLET exam. Applicants must also have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals. Experience in teaching and research in a university setting is essential.
