St.sai Nath Acadmey is looking for a skilled Dance Teacher to join the team in Jaipur. This role involves planning and overseeing all dance-related activities for students from kindergarten to senior classes. Responsibilities include organizing annual functions, managing inter-house competitions, and maintaining discipline during dance rehearsals.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and conduct regular dance classes for students across different age groups.
2. Choreograph and teach classical, folk, and contemporary dance forms suitable for school events.
3. Prepare students for competitions, annual functions, and cultural programs at St.sai Nath Acadmey.
4. Coordinate with other departments to integrate dance into school celebrations and festivals.
5. Maintain attendance records and progress reports for students enrolled in dance activities.
6. Organize and lead inter-house dance competitions to encourage student participation.
7. Ensure all dance equipment and costumes are well-maintained and available for rehearsals.
8. Collaborate with the sports and arts department to promote a balanced extracurricular environment.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline is required for this Dance Teacher position in Jaipur. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Prior experience in school-level dance instruction is preferred. Basic computer proficiency is necessary for maintaining records and communicating with parents.
Preferred Skills
Fluency in Hindi and English is essential for effective communication with students and staff. Experience in choreography for school events and familiarity with Rajasthani folk dance forms will be an advantage. Knowledge of music editing software and stage management is desirable.
