Job Overview
What You Will Do
- Teach History to students from Class 6 to Class 12
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback
- Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student understanding
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide curricula
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate with parents about student progress
- Participate in school events and activities that promote History and cultural awareness
- Stay updated with the latest developments in History education and incorporate them into the curriculum
- Mentor and guide History students who are participating in competitions and projects
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you should have a postgraduate degree in History with a B.Ed/D.El.Ed. degree. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in teaching History to students from Class 6 to Class 12.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.70,000 per month, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the candidate will also receive benefits such as medical insurance, transportation allowance, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
