What You Will Do
1. Plan weekly Art And Craft Teacher lessons for grades 1 to 5 that connect to themes in EVS, math, and language.
2. Organise material kits so every child gets scissors, glue, paper, colours, and recyclables without delay.
3. Demonstrate techniques such as paper quilling, clay modelling, and fabric painting with clear step-by-step instructions.
4. Use worksheets that reinforce colour theory, shapes, patterns, and seasonal motifs for reinforcement at home.
5. Conduct interactive learning sessions where students present their finished pieces in mini art exhibitions within the class.
6. Keep a portfolio record of each student’s progress across the year to share with parents during PTMs.
7. Collaborate with other PRT Art And Craft Teachers in Jaipur to exchange low-cost material ideas and activity banks.
Who Can Apply
Post-graduate candidates with B.Ed, D.El.Ed, or M.Ed in Fine Arts/Visual Arts are eligible. Minimum two years of Art And Craft teaching job in Jaipur or nearby districts is required. NET/SET qualified candidates will get preference. Candidates who have handled primary classes and can speak Hindi and English comfortably are preferred.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is no bar for deserving candidates. CTC includes PF, group medical insurance, and annual professional development support. Seedling Public School, Jawahar Nagar also reimburses material purchase bills up to a set limit every academic year.
