What You Will Do
- Teach Computer Science to students from grade 6 to 10
- Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate computer science concepts with real-world applications
- Use digital tools such as Google Classroom, LMS, and online learning platforms to create interactive lessons and assessments
- Design and deliver project-based learning activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate computer science with other subjects, such as mathematics and science
- Use multimedia resources, such as videos, animations, and simulations, to enhance student engagement
- Create and manage online classrooms, using digital tools to track student progress and provide feedback
- Develop and implement assessments that evaluate student learning outcomes in computer science
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest computer science teaching methods and technologies
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to computer science education
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) is required for teaching positions in India. While a TET or CTET certification is not mandatory, it is preferred. You should also have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
