Classroom Profile

As a PRT English Teacher, you will be working with students from classes VI to X, teaching English language and literature, and guiding them in developing their language skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons to students from classes VI to X, in line with The Cambridge School's curriculum
- Encourage students to participate in class discussions, debates, and other interactive activities to promote language skills and build confidence
- Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve their language skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for teaching English language
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, and to provide students with access to a range of learning resources
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Develop and implement strategies to promote a love of reading and writing among students
- Participate in school-wide events and activities to promote English language and literature
- Engage parents and guardians in their child's education through regular communication and progress updates

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the PRT English Teacher position at The Cambridge School, candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:

- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree in English or a related subject
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English language and literature
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature, and the ability to teach a range of subjects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
- Strong organizational and time management skills
