Responsibilities

- Supervise day‑to‑day functioning of the hostel, including admissions, room allocations and check‑out processes.
- Maintain discipline, safety and hygiene standards for all boarders.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure nutritious meals are served on time.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, bathrooms and common areas and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, inventory, and incident reports.
- Organise extracurricular and cultural activities within the hostel to promote holistic development.
- Liaise with parents, teachers and school administration regarding student concerns.
- Implement emergency protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Qualification

Must Have
- Graduate degree (any stream) with B.Ed/D.El.Ed preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hostel or residential management.

Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification is an added advantage.

Skills

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to handle a diverse student community.
- Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail.
- Good command of Hindi and English for effective communication.
- Ability to resolve conflicts calmly and maintain a supportive environment.
- Basic computer literacy for record keeping.

Salary and location
