Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Music Teacher to join our diverse and inclusive learning community. As a Music Teacher at our school, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality music education to students from various backgrounds, promoting social-emotional learning, and fostering a love for music that extends beyond the classroom.
KPIs and Outcomes:
- Develop and implement engaging music lessons that cater to diverse learner needs, including students with special educational needs and English language learners.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional learning, creativity, and self-expression.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver music programs that meet the needs of all students, including those from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Assess student learning and progress, using data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of music programs that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.

- Ability to develop and implement music lessons that cater to diverse learner needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- Experience of assessing student learning and progress, using data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Passion for music education and a commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Note:
- Postgraduate qualification in Music Education or a related field.
- 1 year of teaching experience in a similar setting.
- No TET required.
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunities.
