This is a full-time position for professionals who can translate complex physics concepts into engaging lessons for grades 6 to 10. Day-to-Day Duties
Teach Physics to TGT classes with a focus on NCERT and state board syllabi, ensuring clarity in topics like mechanics, electricity, and optics. Guide students for board exams with structured revision plans and sample papers aligned to Rajasthan curriculum standards.
Plan weekly practical sessions using low-cost lab kits suitable for rural schools and maintain records of student performance in lab activities. Lead curriculum planning for Physics across middle school and coordinate with subject teachers for cross-topic integration.
Organize inter-house science quizzes and Olympiads to foster interest in Physics beyond textbooks. Coach selected students for district-level science competitions and mentor them through project work on renewable energy or simple machines.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Physics with minimum 50% marks is mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential, with at least three years of classroom teaching experience in Physics for TGT level. TET or CTET certification will be preferred during selection.
Familiarity with Rajasthan Board syllabus and experience in teaching students from rural backgrounds will be an advantage. Candidates should be comfortable using local examples to explain scientific principles in Hindi and English.
