Role Summary
The PGT Accountancy Teacher will be responsible for teaching Accountancy to students of classes 11 and 12, and will also be required to prepare and administer assessments, exams, and other evaluation tools to measure student progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Accountancy to classes 11 and 12, including preparation and delivery of lessons, assessments, and exams.
- Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching methods to promote student learning and engagement.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the administration.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures.
- Maintain a well-organized and well-equipped classroom environment that promotes student learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
- Participate in school-wide events and activities that promote student engagement and community involvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the administration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce (Accountancy) with specialization in Accountancy.
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree required for teaching positions.
- TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Accountancy at the senior secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of Accountancy concepts and curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.75,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. The school also offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid leave, and opportunities for professional development.
