Role Summary
We are looking for a PGT Home Science Teacher to join our faculty at Akshay Public School in Kota, Rajasthan. As a PGT Home Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Home Science to students from Classes IX to XII and will be expected to create a conducive learning environment that encourages students to explore and learn.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver lessons in Home Science to students from Classes IX to XII
- Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and participation
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Conduct co-curricular activities and projects related to Home Science
- Maintain records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
- Participate in staff development programs and workshops
- Monitor and maintain the Home Science laboratory and equipment
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you should have a post-graduate degree in Home Science or a related field and a B.Ed degree. A D.El.Ed degree is preferred. You should also have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.
