Responsibilities

Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to improve their language skills.
Prepare and maintain well-organized lesson materials, including worksheets, reading passages, and audio-visual aids. Collaborate with the English department head to implement school-wide initiatives like literary clubs or cultural events. Ensure classroom management is effective, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist in organizing extracurricular activities such as poetry recitals, English competitions, or guest speaker sessions to enhance students’ communication skills. Keep detailed records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance as required by school policies.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree from a recognized university. Possession of the TET/CTET certificate is highly preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience in an English medium school or equivalent educational setting. Familiarity with CBSE or state board syllabus for primary and upper primary classes is a plus.
