About This Role
Pragati Public Sr. Sec. School is seeking a dedicated and passionate PRT Evs Teacher to lead a vibrant student community in Kota. Classroom Profile
You will be working with a diverse group of students from Class I to X, catering to their unique learning needs and abilities. Our school provides a supportive and inclusive environment, allowing you to create engaging lessons and activities that bring Evs to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive Evs classes, using a variety of teaching methods to make learning fun and challenging.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and incorporate real-world examples from Kota and surrounding areas.
- Encourage students to think critically and creatively about their environment, promoting sustainability and ecological balance.
- Organize field trips to nearby forests, lakes, and parks to provide hands-on experience and foster a deeper connection with nature.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate Evs with other subjects, such as science and social studies.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their Evs skills.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Evs education and incorporate innovative teaching methods and resources into your practice.
- Supervise students during outdoor activities and ensure their safety in the school premises.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- Strong foundation in Evs and environmental education
- Experience in teaching Evs to students in Class I to X
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience in developing and implementing environmental education programs
- Knowledge of local environmental issues and challenges in Kota and surrounding areas
- Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching Evs
