TGT Social Science Teacher Job in Kota, Rajasthan | School Recruitment
Senior Social Science Department Role
The position is designed for an experienced TGT Social Science Teacher ready to step into a senior role at Akshay Public School. This is not just another teaching vacancy; it is an opportunity to shape the Social Science curriculum and guide junior colleagues toward excellence in board results. Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver the Social Science curriculum for TGT classes with a focus on history, geography, and civics. Own the annual teaching plan, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines and board exam trends in Kota.
Mentor junior Social Science teachers through classroom observations, feedback sessions, and resource sharing. Support them in adopting modern teaching methods like project-based learning and interactive discussions.
Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide targeted interventions. Work closely with the academic coordinator to analyze board exam patterns and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Organize Social Science fairs, debates, and field trips to make learning experiential. Collaborate with other departments to integrate Social Science with language and science projects.
Prepare students for Olympiads and other competitive exams in Social Science. Maintain records of student achievements and departmental activities for internal reviews.
Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and suggest study plans. Represent the Social Science department in school meetings and inter-school academic events.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Social Science with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the TGT level. B.Ed is mandatory; D.El.Ed holders with relevant experience may also apply.
CTET or TET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with a strong academic background and a passion for Social Science teaching will be given preference.
