Teaching Physical Education at Dunes Academy in Phalodi
At Dunes Academy Sr. Sec. School, a TGT Physical Education Teacher designs and delivers engaging sports and fitness programs for students aged 14 to 18. Daily responsibilities include planning and conducting outdoor and indoor activities like basketball, volleyball, track events, and team sports. The role ensures students develop physical skills while learning discipline, teamwork, and healthy habits through structured lessons.
The teacher prepares lesson plans aligned with school curriculum standards, covering sports rules, safety protocols, and basic anatomy relevant to physical activities. Workshops and training sessions on nutrition, injury prevention, and mental resilience are also part of the curriculum. Collaboration with other faculty ensures students integrate physical education into broader academic growth.
Assessment involves evaluating students’ performance in sports competitions, participation rates, and skill improvements through periodic tests and observations. Planning involves adapting activities for diverse student abilities, ensuring inclusivity in team sports and fitness challenges. The teacher also organizes inter-house competitions and school events to boost student engagement.
To qualify, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. At least two years of teaching experience in Physical Education or a relevant subject is required. Experience in managing sports programs or coaching at the school level is a plus.
This full-time position offers a monthly salary of Rs. 17,000 to Rs. 30,000, based on qualifications and experience. The role is based in Phalodi, Rajasthan, in a vibrant educational environment focused on holistic student development.
