Job Description
G.v.m Sr. Sec. School is looking for a dedicated TGT Sanskrit Teacher in Rajsamand, Rajasthan to join its faculty on a full‑time basis. The role involves delivering the Sanskrit curriculum to classes VI‑XII, preparing lesson plans aligned with the state board, and fostering a love for classical language among students. You will conduct regular assessments, maintain records, and coordinate with department heads for interdisciplinary activities.
Key Responsibilities
The teacher will manage classroom discipline while using interactive methods such as storytelling, chants, and digital tools to make Sanskrit learning engaging. Responsibilities include organizing Sanskrit cultural events, guiding students for state‑level competitions, and providing remedial support where needed. Regular communication with parents and participation in staff meetings are also expected.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. Possession of TET/CTET is preferred and will be considered an advantage. The applicant should demonstrate proficiency in both spoken and written Sanskrit and be comfortable using modern teaching aids.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers a salary range of Rs.15,000 - Rs.25,000 per month, payable as per the school’s standard payroll schedule. Additional benefits include transport allowance, medical coverage for the employee, and opportunities for professional development through workshops and seminars.
