About This Role
Delhi Public World International School is inviting applications for a full-time NTT English Teacher in Sikar, Rajasthan. The role focuses on foundational English literacy for young learners in the Nursery to Upper Kindergarten stages. Candidates will shape early language habits through storytelling, phonics, and interactive sessions. Familiarity with the local Rajasthani classroom environment is an advantage.
Pedagogy and Tools
Daily planning centers on phonics-based word building, picture vocabulary, and simple sentence framing. Flashcards, audio-visual aids, and sandpaper letters are used regularly. Teachers also conduct rhyme sessions and show-and-tell activities to reinforce listening and speaking. Delhi Public World International School provides a starter kit of teaching materials to each NTT English Teacher.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver daily English lessons aligned with the NTT curriculum for ages three to six.
Introduce basic grammar through age-appropriate songs and chants.
Assess each child’s progress through informal observation and record anecdotal notes.
Organize monthly storytelling assemblies to build confidence and expression.
Prepare classroom corners for role-play, library, and writing readiness.
Collaborate with co-teachers to integrate English with art, music, and movement.
Communicate with parents through simple take-home activity sheets and whatsapp groups.
Maintain a clean, child-friendly learning corner with visible alphabet charts and word walls.
Who Can Apply
Graduates in English, Education, or related fields are invited to apply for the English Teacher Recruitment in Rajasthan. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Prior experience of at least two years in early childhood English teaching is required. NTT English Teacher in Sikar, Rajasthan applicants without TET/CTET may still apply.
