Role Summary
The NTT Mathematics Teacher will lead early primary classes in Sikar, introducing young learners to patterns, shapes, and numbers through activity-based lessons. This role suits someone who enjoys explaining abstract ideas with simple examples and can maintain a calm, patient presence in the classroom. You will be part of a small, supportive unit focused on building foundational skills.
What You Will Do
Prepare daily activity sheets using everyday objects from Sikar markets to teach counting and measurement.
Conduct circle-time games that build number sense before moving to written work.
Observe students during free play and note which concepts need reinforcement.
Collaborate with the English and EVS teams to link math with stories and local surroundings.
Attend weekly math corner meetings to share ideas and troubleshoot common hurdles.
Create a “Math Wall” in each classroom where students pin their own solutions.
Use flash cards and number lines to help children visualise problems.
Document small wins in a simple progress diary that parents can read during PTMs.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential.
Two years of early-grade teaching experience is required.
Preference will be given to candidates familiar with local Rajasthani classroom dynamics.
TET or CTET is not mandatory but can be an advantage.
What You Get
