Job Overview

Pedagogy and Tools
As a PGT Accountancy Teacher, you will be expected to use practical methods and tools to teach Accountancy concepts to students. You will also be expected to use technology, such as spreadsheets and accounting software, to enhance student learning.
What You Will Do
- Teach Accountancy to senior secondary students
- Prepare and deliver lectures, lessons, and tutorials
- Conduct practical experiments and activities to illustrate Accountancy concepts
- Analyze case studies and real-life scenarios to illustrate Accountancy principles
- Set and mark assignments and examinations
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to curriculum development
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver interdisciplinary projects
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you should have a postgraduate degree in Accountancy (M.Com or equivalent) and a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. A strong background in teaching and experience of teaching Accountancy to senior secondary students is essential. CTET or TET certification is preferred but not required.
