What You Will Do
As a PGT Chemistry Teacher at Delhi Public World International School, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and delivering the Chemistry curriculum to students from classes 11 and 12, ensuring that they meet the Board's requirements and achieve excellent results.
* Mentoring and guiding junior staff members to develop their teaching skills and subject knowledge.
* Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and identifying areas for improvement.
* Developing and implementing new teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and maintain the school's Chemistry department, including planning and delivering CPD training.
* Representing the school at Board meetings and other external events, promoting the school's Chemistry department and achievements.
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and reporting to parents and guardians as required.
* Participating in extracurricular activities and events that promote the school's Chemistry department and enhance student engagement.
* Assisting in the development and implementation of the school's policies and procedures related to Chemistry teaching and learning.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
* A postgraduate degree in Chemistry or a related subject (M.Sc. or M.A.)
* A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
* TET or CTET certification is not required, but preference will be given to candidates with these qualifications.
* Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
