About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty team. As a subject expert, you will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students from grades 9 to 12. You will be expected to design engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide feedback to improve their understanding of computer science concepts.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans for Computer Science students
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to improve their understanding of computer science concepts
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate computer science into other subjects
- Use multimedia resources and digital tools to enhance computer science education
- Participate in school events and activities related to computer science
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in computer science education
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must possess a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field (M.Sc., MCA, or M.Tech). A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. certification is required for teaching positions, and a TET or CTET certification is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is also required. You should be well-versed in computer science concepts and have a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
