Clc International School is looking for a Post Graduate Teacher specializing in Political Science to join its senior secondary team. The role involves delivering engaging lessons on Indian Constitution, Political Theory, International Relations, and Governance to classes 11 and 12. Applicants should have a strong foundation in Political Science pedagogy and at least two years of classroom experience at the senior secondary level.
Pedagogy and Tools
Crafting case-study based sessions on landmark Supreme Court judgments and election analysis is essential. Use of current affairs magazines, digital mapping tools for boundary changes, and mock parliament simulations will be part of regular instruction. Clc International School expects teachers to integrate Lok Sabha debates and Rajya Sabha discussions into lesson plans for real-world context.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare structured lesson plans covering NCERT and state board syllabi for Political Science Teacher Recruitment in Rajasthan.
Conduct weekly current affairs quizzes focusing on national and international political developments.
Organize inter-house debates on topics like federalism, secularism, and electoral reforms.
Coordinate with the Social Science department to align Political Science content with history and economics.
Maintain updated teaching aids including charts on constitutional articles and comparative government systems.
Assess students through periodic unit tests, project work, and viva sessions on political ideologies.
Guide students for inter-school quiz competitions on Indian polity and global governance.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in Political Science.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Political Science or Public Administration with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Social Science or Political Science specialization.
CTET or State TET certification preferred for PGT Political Science Teacher in Sikar, Rajasthan.
Experience in teaching Political Science at Class 11 and 12 levels is mandatory.
