Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified TGT English teacher to join our team at our school, located in a Tier 3 area. As a TGT English teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students in classes 6 to 10, and creating a learning environment that is engaging, inclusive, and stimulating.
Minimum Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in English or a relevant field
- 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and materials
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Primary Duties:
- Teach English to students in classes 6 to 10, following the curriculum and syllabus set by the school
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their language skills
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's English department
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
