Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography, and Civics for middle and secondary classes. Prepare and update teaching materials aligned with CBSE curriculum standards. Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students to improve learning outcomes.
Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment. Organize subject-related activities and field trips to enhance practical understanding. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Social Science with other subjects where relevant.
Coordinate with parents during PTMs to discuss student progress and address concerns. Participate in school events and contribute to the overall development of students.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Social Science or related field is mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required for the role. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Social Science at the school level is necessary. Familiarity with CBSE syllabus and teaching methodologies is essential.
