Job Description
The Narayana Educational Institute in Udaipur invites applications for a full-time TGT Sanskrit Teacher position. This role focuses on teaching Sanskrit at the secondary level, ensuring deep engagement with the language’s classical and modern relevance. Core Responsibilities
Teaching Sanskrit to students in classes 9 to 12, covering grammar, literature, and cultural studies. Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that blend traditional texts with contemporary pedagogical methods. Assessing student progress through continuous evaluation, including oral and written assessments, while adhering to the curriculum guidelines.
Additional Duties
Supporting extracurricular activities related to Sanskrit, such as cultural fairs, debates, or workshops, to foster a holistic learning experience. Collaborating with other faculty members to integrate Sanskrit content across subjects where applicable. Participating in institutional events, including teacher training sessions, to enhance teaching practices and share best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. At least two years of teaching experience at the secondary level is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 55,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The role offers a supportive environment to contribute to the academic growth of students while exploring the rich heritage of Sanskrit.
