About This Role
Ras Al Khaimah American Academy is seeking a qualified and experienced Us Curriculum Kg English Teacher to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah City, Ras Al Khaimah. The successful candidate will teach English to students aged 4-6 years old, following the KHDA approved curriculum. This is a full-time position available from immediate start.
Your Role
- Teach English to students aged 4-6 years old, following the KHDA approved curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to promote students' language and literacy skills
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Communicate effectively with parents through regular progress reports and meetings
- Participate in school events and activities to promote a positive school community
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in English teaching
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- B.Ed or PGCE in English or related field
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in an English language school
- KHDA/MOE approval to teach in the UAE
- IELTS 6.0+ for non-native English speakers
- Attested degrees and teaching license from home country
- Police clearance certificate and KHDA/MOE teacher license or ability to obtain
Good to Have
- Experience teaching KG or Early Years students
- Knowledge of KHDA approved curriculum and assessment procedures
- Fluency in Arabic or other languages spoken in the UAE
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural classroom
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with educational technology and resources
- Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities
What We Offer
