Role Summary
Delhi Public School, a premier educational institution in Gangtok, Sikkim, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced PRT Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to students in various classes
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations
- Maintain student records, attendance, and progress reports
- Engage in extracurricular activities, such as club supervision and competitions
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching methods
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and maintain positive communication
- Participate in school-wide events and activities
- Monitor student behavior and maintain a conducive learning environment
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- Graduate degree from a recognized university
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- TET/CTET certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics
- Experience in teaching Mathematics to students in various age groups
Good to Have:
- Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive school culture
