Professional Expectations
The candidate will be expected to deliver high‑quality, curriculum‑aligned lessons that integrate theory with practical application. Subject‑Specific Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive units covering programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and emerging technologies such as AI and cloud computing. Prepare and utilize interactive simulations, coding labs, and project‑based learning modules. Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate computer science concepts across interdisciplinary projects and school events.
Assessment and Practical Work
Develop and administer a range of assessments, from quizzes and coding assignments to capstone projects that demonstrate algorithmic efficiency and real‑world applicability. Facilitate regular coding challenges and hackathons, providing constructive feedback and mentorship. Ensure all practical work aligns with state standards and enhances students’ computational thinking skills.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++, and familiarity with development environments and version control systems.
Experience
Minimum of three years teaching experience at the PGT level or equivalent. Proven track record of incorporating technology into the classroom, leading extracurricular tech clubs, or managing school‑wide IT initiatives.
Salary and Location
