Key Responsibilities
Design and implement age-appropriate physical education curricula aligned with school standards. Monitor student participation, progress, and adherence to safety protocols during outdoor activities.
Teach fundamental sports techniques across various disciplines like basketball, football, cricket, and track events. Collaborate with coaches and parents to encourage a healthy lifestyle among students. Organize inter-house sports events and maintain equipment inventory to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify as a TGT teacher in Tamil Nadu. Experience in teaching physical education at the secondary level is highly valued.
Experience
Proven track record of 4 years in Physical Education teaching, preferably in a reputed school environment. Familiarity with sports management, student motivation techniques, and curriculum development is essential.
Salary and Employment
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000, along with full-time employment at Manchester International School in Coimbatore.
