Physics (IIT) Vacancy in Dharampuri, Dharmapuri, Tamilnadu
Sri Viswabharathi Hr. Sec. School
Job Description
School Culture
Sri Viswabharathi Hr. Sec. School sits in the heart of Dharmapuri, where the classroom hums in Tamil and the corridor walls carry motivational quotes in English. Teachers here meet before first bell to plan daily problem sets and after last period to review rank lists from the weekend’s JEE mocks. The senior physics team runs a WhatsApp group that buzzes late into the night with doubt-clearing voice notes and handwritten solution scans.
Job Overview
We are looking for an IIT Physics Teacher who can transform advanced concepts into sharp problem-solving skills. The role demands daily lesson plans aligned with JEE Main and JEE Advanced patterns, weekly revision tests, and fortnightly parent webinars on rank improvement strategies. You will join a small but high-output department that treats every student’s percentile jump as a shared victory.
What You Will Do
Design and deliver IIT-level Physics content for Classes XI and XII with daily numerical problem sets.
Conduct doubt sessions after regular school hours and weekend crash courses before major mock tests.
Prepare advance assignments on rotational dynamics, semiconductor physics, and modern optics.
Grade mock-test papers and provide detailed error analysis reports to each student.
Organize inter-class quiz competitions that mimic JEE paper patterns.
Collaborate with the mathematics team to integrate coordinate geometry with projectile motion.
Maintain a digital repository of past five-year JEE questions tagged by topic difficulty.
Attend monthly departmental reviews where we fine-tune question paper standards.
Who Can Apply
Post-graduate in Physics with a minimum of three years of IIT coaching experience.
Sound knowledge of JEE Main and JEE Advanced syllabus and paper trends.
Familiarity with advanced teaching tools like GeoGebra, PhET simulations, or Python-based physics modeling.
Fluency in Tamil and English to interact with students and parents during doubt sessions.
Work Culture
The physics lab doubles as a discussion zone where students sketch free-body diagrams on the glass walls. Senior teachers bring homemade charts of ray optics and magnetic field lines to every classroom. Parents drop in with printed rank slips, expecting immediate feedback on weak chapters. The school calendar is built around mock-test weeks, parent-teacher meet weekends, and holiday crash programs that feel like mini-IIT boot camps.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.60,000 – Rs.70,000 per month on a full-time basis.
