How You Will Teach
Children respond best when Mathematics is taught through stories, rhymes, and hands-on activities. Daily lessons will use digital tools like smart boards to display animated counting games and shape recognition videos. Google Classroom will share simple practice sheets and audio rhymes for parents to reinforce learning at home. Blended learning combines classroom interaction with digital content, ensuring every child participates actively.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare daily Mathematics lesson plans using digital flashcards and interactive games on the smart board.
Upload phonics-based counting rhymes and basic addition songs on Google Classroom for parent access.
Conduct morning circle time with number rhymes and finger counting activities on the smart board.
Create simple digital worksheets using Canva or similar tools for tracing numbers and matching quantities.
Organize activity corners where children use blocks, beads, and puzzles to understand basic Math concepts.
Record short video clips of children reciting number rhymes and share them securely with parents via LMS.
Collaborate with the NTT team to plan monthly Math-themed events like ‘Number Day’ or ‘Shape Hunt Week’.
Maintain digital attendance and quick progress notes for each child in the school’s LMS.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a main subject at graduation level.
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics to nursery or kindergarten children.
D.El.Ed or NTT certification from a recognized institute.
Familiarity with basic classroom technology tools and willingness to learn new digital platforms.
Preferred Skills
Strong digital literacy with the ability to create simple digital content for young learners.
Experience using Google Classroom, LMS, and smart boards in early childhood settings.
Comfortable explaining basic Math concepts through stories, songs, and playful activities.
Good communication skills in Tamil and English to interact with children and parents effectively.
